The Only Authorized WPG Repair Facility Outside WPG Headquarters
Great Lakes Lifting is proud to operate the only authorized WPG repair facility in the United States outside of WPG's own headquarters in Laurel, Montana. That's a distinction no other U.S. dealer can claim, and it makes a tangible difference for contractors who can't afford an extended waiting period.
When your Wood's Powr-Grip® Vacuum Lifter needs service, our Peotone, Illinois, facility delivers faster turnarounds, lower freight costs and less downtime for glazing and industrial contractors across the Midwest and East Coast.
Our factory-trained technicians perform repairs using authentic OEM parts to keep your equipment safe, compliant, and ready to work. With the capacity to service 40 to 50 lifters per month, we're built to support individual contractors and large fleet operations alike.
WPG Rentals, Sales and Support
We make it easy to quickly access the right WPG equipment. If you need a vacuum lifter rental for a single project, we have the piece of equipment you need. We also have vacuum lifters for sale to help you strengthen your permanent fleet. We carry the full WPG lineup, available for purchase with nationwide delivery.
Our support goes well beyond delivery. We stock certified OEM parts, offer preventive maintenance agreements and run an 8-inch hand cup exchange program for eligible models. For contractors who want a complete lifting solution, our team can pair Powr-Grip® vacuum lifters with Smartlift® glass manipulators or SPYDERCRANE® mini crawler cranes. You can tackle many demanding glazing and panel installations with our equipment and support options.
