Mini Crane vs Mini Crawler Crane: what’s the difference?

Mini Crane vs Mini Crawler Crane: what’s the difference?

We hear many several innovations regarding, well, the term used to describe our Spydercranes.

“For how long can I rent a mini crane?”

“Can I repair a mini crawler crane?”

From all terrain cranes to telescopic handler cranes, hammerhead, jib, deck, floating, and aerial cranes, keeping track of which does what, as well as letting clients know which ones we offer is a rewarding albeit continuous challenge.

The difference between a mini and a mini crawler crane is not as difficult as it sounds.

The short answer is that a mini crawler crane is considered a subset of a mini crane when it comes to everyday speak, but it gets funnier than that:

Mini is a common term, but typically a casual one.

There really isn’t an official definition for a mini crane. A mini crane is typically referred to smaller variations of crawler cranes. This is where our line of Spydercranes come in.

But Crawler Cranes aren’t the only ones that are considered “mini”

Several variations of cranes have smaller versions that often get called “mini.” Fixed, mobile, and believe it or not, overhead cranes all have such variations.

Why we like our mini cranes

We love our Spydercrane mini cranes because they provide a great value to our customers. That value comes from not only being able to be a great mobile crawler crane, but with its design it also allows for the stability of a fixed crane and the extension ability of a smaller overhead crane.

We like to think of it as the best mini crane around. We hope you do, too.
