Tis the season of inspections and preventative maintenance
A friendly reminder from your favorite lifting company to take care and caution during this season of building and construction.
We are halfway through the Summer. Projects are in full swing. Plans have been drafted, scratched, re-written, improved, and are now in full swing. Hammers are high, nail heads are down. Days are now going shorter and deadlines are now growing tighter. It's a sprint, and a rush, and we love it each and every time it happens this time of year.
This is also the time of year where we extra reminders need to be placed on safety, caution, care, and inspections.
The days are as hot as they were predicted, and the predictions were brutal.
Weather experts have expected some of the hottest temperatures ever recorded. Days of 90 degrees and higher for much of the country have met predictions and will continue on into the fall.
Remember this heat is also brutal on your equipment.
It's never a good idea to take your equipment for granted, especially in such heat. This is the time of year when extra care has to be performed on equipment to make sure they stay clean, cool, and showing little signs of wear and tear.
If you do start to see any signs of potential issues, stop what you're doing and perform necessary inspections.

As incredible as our machines are, they were made by men and women, not supernatural beings. Now is not the time of year to have your machines, "pay through the pain." If you see any signs of wear and tear, perform an inspection.
