Great Lakes Lifting Solutions Extends its Partnership with Smartlift A/S (Denmark) as the exclusive midwest dealer of the Smartlift® through 2027.
Great Lakes Lifting Solutions is proud to announce this extended agreement, which allows them to serve heavy-lifting construction and maintenance and commercial glazing sectors in the continental United States for years to come.
“Over the last 5 years SmartliftUS has become part of our family and our identity,” says Steven Brooks, Business Development Manager at Great Lakes Lifting Solutions.
“To be able to continue to represent the product and brand for the foreseeable future means a lot to us. We have no doubt that Smartlift A/S will continue to adapt and develop the world’s greatest glass manipulators.”
While serving the glass and glazing industry for years, expansion is also a help to the granite and insulated metal panel industries.

Great Lakes Lifting Solutions is also preparing a new maintenance program that should be announced in March. Its clients span multiple industries across the United States, who depend on timely rentals of machines such as the SmartLift® to get new construction and maintenance projects completed quickly. The new plan will have a Great Lakes Lifting Solutions technician making rounds throughout all territories twice per year, saving travel and time for clients. This can address current needs or can serve as preventive maintenance on machines.

Great Lakes Lifting Solutions opened a Texas Division in 2022, and plans to open a new facility in the Ohio Valley region by end of 2024. This allows for expanded coverage and reduced delivery time of its machines.
